These beautiful sharks with patterned body, that allows them to camouflage very very well, are native to Australia and are one of the local marine animals here in Terrigal, NSW, Australia. It is actually the first type of shark I have ever seen in the water.

 

They are mostly resting on the sea floor, but on this painting I wanted to capture their moves when swimming - that is always special to see! Adding colours and texture to express their different personalities and shark like attitude.
