I AM IZABELA SAJDOK

WELCOME TO MY WORLD OF BEAUTY AND COLOURS

I'M A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST, TATTOO ARTIST AND DIVER, CURIOUS WOMAN WITH ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT.

What ART means to me

It’s an integral part of our society, it’s connecting us to the spirit, to our essence of humanity, purpose of being alive and experiencing life.

Art creates window,
so a different perspective can be seen. We are in undeniable need to be
surrounded by beauty, we all need it – but we are not all necessarily aware of
this fact.

Art can change your
life and it can definitely elevate the space we are living in .. it is magical.

SILESIA –land in between, my roots, my blood, my bones

I was born on the border of Czech Republic and Poland, growing up listening to tales about Kings, princesses, knights, dragons and castles…with imaginary constantly touched by beautiful mountains, forests and rivers – this was my childhood between two languages and two cultures.

As far as I can remember my room was filled with hand-made decorations that I have been creating at school or after school and my family was gifted by so many paintings that a little me was making for them from the heart.

Inner Creativity

My
creativity grew and so did I, or maybe it’s the other way around… With time and changing life circumstances, moving countries, travelling and exploring world beyond my comfort zone – my ability to paint and draw was changing and developing, receiving inspiration from nature, people I met on my journey and adventures I dared to say yes to.

Australia

Arriving
to Australia in 2014 marked a significant point where something inside felt “home”- not that it was easy and so obvious, a lot sweat and tears happened before I finally realised that I have to say YES to being an artist fully. Being an artist was not a choice of my head, it was a desire of my soul andheart, that couldn’t be ignored any longer.

OCEAN - HOME, HEART, PURITY

Ocean, from the moment I saw you – I couldn’t stop looking at you,
with my mouth open in awe and eyes trying to absorb the whole of your wilderness
and beauty. I was enchanted, my full me was enchanted and this included my
fears too. Once I started diving – I have fallen in love even deeper, and the
desire to see more of magical underwater world was fuelling me and giving me
strength in some dark days in my life. The beauty, the voice of ocean – is an
invitation for unlimited source of inspiration for my art and for my life.

TESTIMONIALS

“Izabela!!!! Where do I start. You have absolutely blown both my Fiancé and I and every single person that sets eyes on our painting! Thank you for a live painting experience we will never forget and neither will my family and friends. You painted us at our engagement party with such poise and style. It is truly everything we could have dreamed for, a timeless painting that we will have for the rest of our lives and pass on one day! I speak the upmost praise of you, I feel I have experienced work from an artist that deserves her work in art galleries and museums. Thank you for your time, expertise and pure passion for your art. I cannot wait to have my future home with your artwork all over it. I am so excited for our next painting with you... our wedding!!!”

“Izabela is simply amazing. I have no other words. She went above and beyond what we expected for our big day! We had a vision, and Izabela worked within our budget and gave us the best experience possible. We are so grateful that we have this artwork to symbolise our day and be able to show everyone that visits our home. We can’t recommend Izabela enough, she made our wedding dreams come true and is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. All of the guests loved watching the piece come to life and are amazed to see how well it has turned out. If you are wanting a live painting done,  stop thinking about it and book now! She won’t let you down.”

Every artist has their unique process, and Izabela is no exception. What captivates me is the brilliance with which she express her creativity. Conversations with Izzy about her art illuminate my spirit. In my home, I proudly display two of her incredible pieces. One features a majestic lion in full ROAR, embodying strength  and vitality. The other presents a gentle indigenous elder. Effortlessly transporting the viewer into a realm of grace and contenment. Izzy’s passionate presence on this planet reverberates like the lion’s ROAR in her voice. Being in her company fills me with a soft, beautiful sense of being - an essence reminiscent of the all-knowing Shaman.

I bought a beautiful piece from local artist Izabela — a painting of a whale and its baby, seen from their tails. It now sits pride of place opposite my kitchen in my newly renovated home, and I absolutely love it. The colours are spot on — they reflect the ocean and tie in perfectly with the space. Every day, I find myself stopping to look at it. It brings a real sense of calm and joy. I couldn’t be happier.

I have know Izzy for a number of years and have seen lots of her artwork which really impressed me. I first used her skills to paint a Weedy Sea Dragon on my first Cedar strip canoe. I then commissioned Izzy to paint a portrait of my late father in-law Milton who had passed away a year earlier. I gave Izzy a photo of him and asked to paint her interpretation onto canvas. Both my wife and I were thrilled with the final result.

Thank you Izzy.

Izzy's art is full of life and emotion.  We have several of her paintings in our home, each special to us. They are large, powerful pieces - each telling its own story -  rich in emotion and depth.  When we walk past them, we discover something new: a subtle expression, a shift in mood, or a detail we hadn’t noticed before.

They are highlights in our home, constantly sparking conversation and admiration from guests. Each piece feels alive and draws you in.

We feel fortunate to have discovered Izzy and to have her work as part of our daily life. Her paintings are not just decorations—they are meaningful, evocative, and have become deeply personal to us.
