Strength, innocence, truth, courage … I came up with an idea of painting a family of lions. I thought about the parental strength, protective feeling and a baby Leo that is unaware of the outside worlds, resting peacefully surrounded by the parents.

 

These paintings just appeared, really quickly taking shape and word “guardian” was popping out a lot. I feel these lions very strongly, deeply touching core, a truth that is there … they know, they are aware of it, and they are not afraid. Courage is greater than fear.
